This week on Daily Travel Source, we’re exploring the new Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks & Caicos and how it reflects the future of all-inclusive family travel. From multi-bedroom villas and new dining concepts to family-focused entertainment and oceanfront experiences, the expansion offers a fresh take on Caribbean vacations designed for today’s multi-generational travelers.
Treasure Beach Village marks a major expansion for Beaches Turks & Caicos. What inspired the vision for this new oceanfront village, and how does it elevate the overall resort experience for families?
At its core, Treasure Beach Village was inspired by the destination itself, especially the beauty of Grace Bay Beach. When you take in those shades of turquoise, it naturally feels like the setting should lead the design, so we set out to create something that feels completely in sync with that environment.
From the accommodations to shared spaces like the lobby, that influence carries throughout. You see it in the colors and textures, along with playful design moments that nod to the coral reefs and marine life just offshore. But beyond aesthetics, the goal was to elevate how families experience the resort as a whole.
Treasure Beach Village adds a new rhythm to Beaches Turks & Caicos. It offers a more relaxed, oceanfront setting that complements the energy of the waterpark, activity areas, and dining experiences across the resort. Families can move seamlessly between that sense of calm and the vibrant, high-energy moments the resort is known for, all in the same day.
What we’ve created is a space that feels both immersive and intuitive, where families can come together in meaningful ways, while still having room to explore, unwind, and enjoy their own moments. It’s a natural extension of Beaches Turks & Caicos that deepens the sense of place and connection to Grace Bay in a really special way.
The new accommodations emphasize multi-bedroom suites and villas designed for larger groups. How does this reflect the way families and multi-generational travelers are vacationing today?
What we’re seeing today is a real shift in how families choose to travel. It’s no longer just immediate families taking vacations. More and more, it’s multi-generational groups coming together: grandparents, parents, children, and even close family friends. Travel has become a way to reconnect and spend meaningful time together, and that’s something we were very intentional about when designing Treasure Beach Village.
The new accommodations are a direct reflection of that trend. Whether it’s the Treasure Beach Oceanview Two-Story 2-Bedroom Butler Suites or larger options like the Chairman's 3-Bedroom Penthouse Suite and CrystalSky 4-Bedroom Reserve Villas, they are designed to bring everyone under one roof, while still offering the space and privacy people need to feel comfortable. Features like expansive living areas, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, and added touches like private pools or rooftop terraces in select villas allow families to gather easily, but also enjoy their own moments when they want to.
Ultimately, it’s about creating an environment that feels both connected and flexible. Today’s travelers want to share experiences, but they don’t want to compromise on comfort, and these accommodations deliver exactly that.
Treasure Beach Village introduces several new dining concepts, including Pinta Food Hall and Butch’s Island Chop House. How do these additions expand the culinary experience for guests across the resort?
Food has become such an important part of how people experience a destination, and we wanted to make sure that was reflected here. Beaches Turks and Caicos already boasts an impressive range of dining options, so our goal was to build on the options, introducing concepts that feel fresh, immersive, and truly reflective of the destination.
With Pinta Food Hall, we created a truly dynamic and social environment. It brings together multiple globally inspired stations under one roof, from Caribbean fare featuring a conch-forward menu inspired by Turks and Caicos, to Mexican, Italian, and Asian cuisines. It gives guests the freedom to explore, mix and match, and really tailor their dining experience to whatever they’re in the mood for. For families, especially, it takes the pressure off trying to agree on one place and instead makes dining feel easy, flexible, and a bit more fun.
Then you have Butch’s Island Chop House, which offers a distinctly different energy that’s more refined and elevated. It’s the perfect setting for evenings when guests are craving a classic steakhouse experience, complete with dry-aged steaks, mini martinis, and even a thoughtfully elevated kids’ menu.
It’s not just about having more restaurants; it’s about creating variety, giving guests options, and making food a central part of the overall experience.
From the lagoon-style pool and waterslides to the new Starfish Cinema, the village introduces a variety of family-focused amenities. Which experiences do you think will become guest favorites?
At the center of the new village is the lagoon-style pool, which has quickly become a real hub of activity. It’s a 15,000-square-foot space with a zero-entry design, waterslides, splash zones, and a swim-up bar, so it truly works for all ages. Kids can play in the shallow areas while parents relax nearby, and touches like the in-water social pods and easy flow between the pool and beach make it simple to spend the whole day together without having to think about it.
The Starfish Cinema is another one we’re seeing people really enjoy. It’s Beaches’ first-ever cinema, and it gives families that “night out” feeling without leaving the resort – movies, popcorn, the whole experience. It’s an easy way to wind down in the evening and do something a little different together.
The social pods at the main pool bar are also becoming a favorite. They’re these in-water seating areas where families and friends can sit, talk, and just hang out for hours. It’s a small detail, but it really changes how people use the space.
And then there are the experiences built into the accommodations themselves, particularly within the CrystalSky Reserve Villas. They’re designed for togetherness, with plenty of space, private pools, and rooftop terraces. It’s fun to know guests are using the telescopes up there, whether it’s spotting whales during the season or just gathering at night to look at the stars. It’s those kinds of simple moments that make the vacation extra memorable.
The opening of Treasure Beach Village also signals the beginning of Beaches’ next chapter, with significant investment and new resorts on the horizon. How does this expansion reflect the future vision for the Beaches brand?
Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks & Caicos is really a glimpse into where Beaches Resorts is headed overall.
We’re in a period of meaningful growth, with $1 billion in planned investment across the Caribbean, including destinations like Jamaica, Exuma in The Bahamas, Barbados and Saint VIncent and the Grenadines. But it’s not simply about building more rooms, it’s about evolving the experience in a way that reflects how families actually travel today. They’re looking for more space, more flexibility, and more opportunities to immerse themselves in the destination and connect in a genuine way, and that’s exactly what we’re focused on.
You see that in the shift toward larger, multi-bedroom accommodations, both here at Treasure Beach Village and in places like Beaches Negril. But it’s also reflected in the experiences we’re introducing, whether it’s new dining concepts like Pinta Food Hall, entertainment like the Starfish Cinema, or more personalized ways to enjoy the resort. Everything is designed to feel more intuitive and in step with what guests want.
At its core, this next chapter is about rethinking what an all-inclusive family vacation can look like. It’s about giving families more room to unwind and more ways to spend their time with experiences that truly matter to them.
In that sense, Treasure Beach Village is a blueprint. It represents our “Beaches 2.0” approach, where growth isn’t just about adding rooms, but about reimagining how families connect, explore, and experience the Caribbean together.
