Travelers: Ireland is an incredible choice for your next family vacation

The Gap of Dunloe.

Our family recently returned from a dream trip to Ireland, and it quickly became one of our favorite family vacations. From Dublin and Belfast to Killarney, the Cliffs of Moher, Giant’s Causeway and the Ring of Kerry, every stop seemed to bring a different experience and another incredible view.

We loved the history and diversity of Dublin, the dramatic scenery around Ballintoy and Giant’s Causeway, and the small-town feel of Killarney, where there was still plenty to see and do, including a fun day of golf. Killarney National Park and the Ring of Kerry were especially beautiful, with picturesque landscapes and seemingly endless shades of green that felt almost magical.

Road-tripping through Ireland was fun, and it gave us the chance to explore castles, coastal villages, beaches and countryside at our own pace. We ate great food, met pleasant people and even managed to swim in the ocean along the way.

Most importantly, it was the kind of trip that brought our family together and gave us memories we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re looking for inspiration for your next family vacation, Ireland should absolutely be on the list.
