From 14 immersive exhibits inspired by New York City to interactive art, sweet treats and complimentary digital photos, Haaz shares what makes the experience a playful addition to an NYC getaway.
Color Factory NYC is located in SoHo, one of New York City’s most vibrant neighborhoods. What makes this such a fun area for travelers to explore, and what are some of your favorite things visitors can see and do nearby before or after their Color Factory experience?
Creativity and discovery have always been part of SoHo’s DNA, which made it the natural home for Color Factory. You can spend hours wandering the cobblestone streets, grabbing coffee, or popping into its many galleries and stores. We love that a visit here can easily become part of a larger day exploring downtown. There is no better place to experience all the colors of New York and then step back out into one of the city's most energetic neighborhoods.
New York has no shortage of attractions, but Color Factory offers a very different way to experience the city. What makes its 14 immersive exhibits such a fun addition to a family getaway, friends’ trip or weekend exploring NYC?
Color Factory is about experiencing the joy of color through all the senses, but we’ve also taken inspiration from New York itself. We celebrate the many shades of the city—from the bright yellow of a taxi cab to the creamy brown of a street pretzel, there are thoughtful nods to the city to discover along the way.
For example, our bright blue ball pit is inspired by that sliver of blue sky you catch when looking up between skyscrapers. Chromaroma celebrates the wide spectrum of scents found throughout the city. Even our confetti room was developed to change and reflect the natural shades of New York across various seasons.

Rather than simply looking at art, guests are invited to interact, play, discover and participate together. Whether visiting with kids, friends, a partner, or generations of family we see such a wide range of groups amongst our guests. Truly, an experience for all ages.
