This October, San Antonio comes alive with Spirit Season — a month-long celebration of Día de los Muertos that honors heritage, art, and community. From October 3 to November 14, the city transforms with illuminated river parades, live performances, and festivals that blend remembrance with joy.
Highlights include the Day of the Dead River Parade (Oct. 24), Muertos Fest at Hemisfair (Oct. 24–26), and Altares y Ofrendas at Centro Cultural Aztlán (Nov. 2–13).
Visitors can also join family-friendly events, artisan markets, and the Monarch Butterfly & Pollinator Festival.
