Add Coastal Mississippi to your list of outdoor travel destinations. The Mississippi Gulf Coast offers travelers a ton of outdoor adventures including scenic trails, scuba diving lessons, and sunset cruise tours.
The region is celebrating Great Outdoors Month this June and in a release noted a ton of exciting activities. Some of the fun options include:
Travelers can take a daily voyage to Ship Island, which is located 10 miles offshore from Gulfport/Bilox.
Spanning over 160 miles, visit Gulf Islands National Seashore and its six distinct water wonderlands.
Have fun riding a horse in Saucier. The area has over 40 acres of trails.
